The city of Sanford is the county seat of Seminole County and is also the county's largest city, facing the St. John's River and Lake Monroe. The standard city street sign is white with black lettering and a black outline. It also includes numbers and a direction arrow for that city block. Some streets that use Sanford as a mailing address are not in the city limits; those streets display the green Seminole County street sign shown previously.

STREETSIGN SERIES: Seminole County (Unincorporated)

Seminole County is one of Florida's smallest counties, located just north of Orlando and Orange County. The first sign type above is posted on most streets in the county that are located in unincorporated areas. The sign is green with white lettering and a white border. At the right end is the Seminole County marketing logo "Seminole County - Florida's Natural Choice" which itself is white and green with a hint of blue. Some county streets display green signs with white lettering without the logo and border but instead displays a small letter "C" for "county. (Not pictured above.) Finally, county streets in unincorporated Fern Park and in unincorporated areas of Longwood display the second sign pictured above; white with green lettering and a green border which does include the Seminole County marketing logo.
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Ocoee)

The city of Ocoee is located directly west of Orlando and east of Winter Garden. The city can't seem to make up its mind on street signs as three different kinds are displayed. Just a few years ago all Ocoee signs were green with white lettering and no logo. They began replacing those with green signs and white lettering but displaying the city seal at one end. Before the conversion was even complete they began replacing signs with newer green signs with white lettering but with a city logo at one end stating "The Center of Good Living". Currently examples of all three signs are still displayed, often within blocks of each other. STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Winter Park)
The city of Winter Park is located directly north of the city of Orlando. The standard street sign is blue with white lettering. There are parts of unincorporated Orange County and Seminole County that use prestigious Winter Park for their mailing address however only those on streets displaying this blue sign are actually in the city.STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Eatonville)
Eatonville is a small city wedged between the cities of Maitland and Winter Park. The street signs are arguably the most colorful in Orange county. They are blue with white lettering and a thin white border. At one end is a sticker displaying the city seal. Unfortunately the heat is allowing many of the stickers to peal off and the city has not made any effort to repair the signs as of yet.
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Maitland)
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Windermere)
The town of Windermere is located in southwest Orange County near Disney World. Because of its attractive location along a chain of lakes, the town is full of multi-million dollar homes. Unfortunately, the town is not progressive in any manner and utilizes septic tanks, dirt roads and antiquated street posts as shown. They are made of white painted concrete with black lettering on three or four sides. Numerous PGA Tour golfers including Tiger Woods call Windermere home as do sports stars Shaquille O'Neal and Ken Griffy among others. However they live in a gated community called "Isleworth" that is actually outside town limits even though the mailing address is Windermere.
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Lake Buena Vista & Bay Lake)
The cities of Lake Buena Vista, Florida and Bay Lake, Florida are located in southwest Orange County. The cities were created by a special act of the Florida legislature in order to give the Walt Disney Company control over the land which was to become Walt Disney World. The cities are thus controlled via their government arm, the Reedy Creek Improvement District. The cities themselves are not marked however you know you're on Disney property due to the colorful road signage as well as the unique street signs which are wider than standard street signs elsewhere. They are green with white lettering. All 4 theme parks are actually in Bay Lake; Downtown Disney and the hotels along Hotel Plaza Blvd. are in Lake Buena Vista.

STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Belle Isle)
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Edgewood)
Edgewood is a small Orange County community located directly south of Orlando along Orange Avenue. It's one of those little towns it's best to slow down while passing through! The street sign is green with white lettering, usually surrounded by a white border. At one end is a sticker displaying a large oak tree and "Edgewood".
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Orlando)
The city of Orlando is the largest city in Orange County and one of the largest cities in Florida. The street sign is green with white lettering. At one end is a pictogram representing the Lake Eola fountain, a fountain located in downtown Orlando. As you travel around the area you'll know when you're actually in the city of Orlando by this street sign.
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Oakland)
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Winter Garden)
STREETSIGN SERIES: Orange County (Unincorporated)
The parts of Orange County, Florida that are not in any incorporated city or town and are considered to be "in the county". County streets display this attractive green sign with white lettering. At one end is a single orange hanging from a twig with two leaves. Streets that are in incorporated areas will display one of the signs posted elsewhere on this website.
